VTS Opinion of Use: Nice, clean example of a true art deco writing machine! This is a sleek LC Smith Corona Four portable vintage typewriter. The investment value of these typewriters is in the condition of the paint and decals and the color combination. The decals on this one show less than average wear, the nickel plating is clean, and the enamel is nice and glossy. Anyway, It's beautiful and will amaze any who see it in person ;-) The entire machine has been through a 3 hour, hands-on disassembly, reassembly process and de-greasing, cleaning, oiling, adjusting and testing over several days.
